More monorail trouble

The poor thing had to be shut down again. Wed the 2nd the engineers noticed a short circuit on a 30 foot rail used to power the thing. And it turns out I was right when I posted that they were going to wear it out with testing. It seems they ran the thing some 19000 miles before they cut it loose back in December. A building official, Ron Lynn said, "the area may have been weakened by the extensive testing".
It was down for 13 hours. Longer than the repairs took but these guys are getting paranoid now and they wanted to be dam sure.
This was actually the second shut down sense Dec. On Jan 5 there was a 20 minute halt while a door was reset? The cars have doors on both sides but at some stops there is a platform on only one side. Now if the wrong door opened the first step would be a doosy.
