Paper work

You can't do business with signing your name, usually many times but this one has proved to be fairly painless. The purchase order was faxed to the credit union and we went down to sign the loan. There were the usual decisions about warranty and life insurance and all the ways a CU tries to make money. Even something called GAP cause if the car gets totaled insurance will pay low book and the payoff might be higher so you can pay a fee to cover the difference. This actually may be worth it on a older car, but warranty is expensive and hopefully a do without.
I feel that in this day of 24/7 weekends should be abolished (especially in Vegas)and business should not stop. But it does so I must wait till Monday to continue the deal. I have to call my auto insurance company and get a binder which will be a problem as the VIN on the PO was hard to read and I don't have a copy anyway. If lucky I can call or fax additional info and not have to visit the CU again.
If the check is cut Monday and reaches the auction lot the truck will be released then it has to be smogged and inspected (59$ included in lone) OH and I found out how Help Desk gets theirs (250$ auction fee) I'm sure that goes to Kirk and the bidding dealer. Then I can get it in my driveway.
Diane told me they would deliver the truck to me. Ok I will believe that when it happens. Nothing else will happen till Monday so nail biting will continue and I'll finish this up later.
