Re-start

It's about time I got back to this blog. The elections are over and we have to live with the results. All the posts at "adaven at large" were political and now I will have to change it to be more general news related commentary.
This blog is about living in Las Vegas Nevada. It is meant to be personal so I will write about things happening here from my perspective and what I do and what my personal circle of friends and relations are doing.
Just for a little back ground I work for the major locals casino operator as a slot tech. That means I keep these money makers working. That's my job. It is not my life.
Life includes an amazing wife, four kids, 12 GK's one (or more ) GGK's (can't keep track), 89 yr old mother (memory of great father) sister, nec and nefw, and old and new friends. Don't even ask me about inlaws.
Also Gizmo, our little dog, (much more about him later) and I keep birds. The aviary has 22 cockateals 2 parakeets and 12 lovebirds.
Music is always there. It started with the clarinet in 5th grade and has never stopped. I sing and play (and for awhile survived on) music. See the music pages at www.adaven.net
Enough history. I will try to publish some interesting things here. Some real life. Not reality TV.
