Still a great place

You should be envious of the weather here. Mid 90's and mid 60's. Fine for BBQ and walking the dog. Yeah but the good life is expensive. Home prices are at DWIT (double what it's worth) thanks to an influx from So California with money to burn from home sales there. A regular working person can't buy a house. The bubble is about to burst? I don't know. I could sell my nice home for double what I in debt for it. But then where would I go. To get another house I'd have to sink all the profits in down pymt so my mort pymt would be doable. So like many I wonder what this realastate situation is doing to me. Well one thing is sure Taxes are going to raise, being based on value. The law makers are looking at this and 1: getting wet over how much money they will have coming in and
2: trying to figure how to change the law so it doesn't thrash the (common) resident. (After all elections are elections.
Well here is one for you.
The Gas company asked for a 4% rate increase. The public utilities commission says they should get a 9% rate increase instead because gas costs could go up??? This is the board that is protecting us?
Don't ask me I just live here.
